Hello, I'm Daniel, I'm a UI/UX Designer passionate about designing digital experiences that leave a positive impact on people, the environment, and society. I have a background in Graphic Designer in which I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Currently, I'm studying my master program in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University in Chicago.
Most recently, I interned at Open Water Accelerator as a UI/UX Designer, and the last summer, I had the opportunity to work internationally at ABA MGT- Brazil as UI/UX Designer and Web Developer.
Before studying design, I spent the beginning of my college career as a Computer Science student. While studying programming, I started to see the power of visual design to tell stories, capture audiences, and represent brands.
The Design has allowed me to bridge my interests in storytelling, psychology, sustainability, and visual craft to tackle problems in our community and create experiences with lasting impacts. With design and programming training, I strive to balance a creative design approach and a problem-solving mindset to create effective solutions.
The industry has many different perspectives to offer and it continues to inspire me to push my boundaries as an artist, communicator, and problem solver.
