The app provides official matches from the 32 countries participating in the cup. The app provides interactive group, match, tourist, hosting cities information and countdown time for the calendar world cup.
The main idea behind this project was to develop a convenient application that allows fans and users to get the best experience of the FIFA World Cup event. The project main goal was to acomplish easy navigate essential components fuctionalities such as informational groups, matches, plays, countries teams, informational tourism and maps from hosting cities.
In the market, there is no convenient simple application that combines all those essential components functionalities such as the game and informational tourism for those fans and users who want to get more involve In the FIFA World Cup in Russia 2018. Large Range of Users
Our target users are soccer fans and tourists who want to get enhancement in their trips to the world cup event getting the best experience possible by providing the best accurate information and services in their trip to the competition. Unique Brand Identity
It’s the first time for me to lead a team by being the scrum master of this project and to lead a design team to create brand identity from 0 to 10. How to make our application deeply impressive and still friendly to users is my major challenge.
It consists of research and in-depth knowledge of who the industry’s competitors are and how they work. I analyzed three different apps that had similar relevance with the tournament, however, almost none of the applications had relevance with tourism and information about the hosting country. The competitors' app have more relevance with the plays and results scores of the tournament.
After comparing the applications, I got to the conclusion that there are plenty of applications of content for users to get involved in the FIFA World Cup 2018 like FIFA Official App, LiveScore and Live Football. The problem with so much variety is that in the market there not exit from one particular application that convines all these functionalities, the reason is that is hard to organize all this content in one place and make a good application that can adapt to provide the best possible needs for those users.
Based on my research, I created fictional personas in order to represent different user types. Creating personas helped me to understand the user’s needs, experiences, goals and frustrations.
