The concept of the Architectural agency came up as an opportunity to work as a freelance in Mexico with a direct client to improve my skills in the field of UI/UX Design. The project was to design and develop a web page and responsible web mobile application that allows users to easily browse and find the desired content. I created a multipurpose portfolio focused on showcasing the companies work and ideas. Inspired by beautiful artwork and in tens of wonderful architectural projects by Architect Alfonso Gonzalez, I created this elegant site with an attractive style that stands out from the competition.

ALFONSO GONZÁLEZ - ARQUITECTO is a small company growing in the market with 10 years of experience in service in the industry in architecture and rendering designs, the company needs evolution in its business capabilities to provide and establish its brand and professional services. The task in this project was to create a web platform to represent his company based on certain functionalities that will provide allowing their business to grow.

I determined that there were three main objectives I needed to tackle with the project. All while promoting a more sustainable Website providing a sense of credibility and further establishes my client brand as a professional service.

Starting in the first design phase, I set about figuring out how I could attract more users to the website. I started the design process with research first. I conducted domain research, competitive analysis, user surveys to address the following key goals:

Considering my limited time of constraints, I created a project timeline to be able to accomplish my weekly goals.

One particular aspect of my initial step in the research phase was to understand successful user experiences in current products associated with professional architectural portfolios in the industry. I explored different companies websites that the client admires in order to understand some of his meet objectives of him. I analyzed both the good and bad UX features of each competitor, and used my points of analysis on: navigational features, on-boarding experience to the dashboard screen and specific functionalities features.

After analyzing and discovering what the industry does, and what specific e-commerce features I need to implement, I conducted several meetings with the client to make sure I define the design requirements.

Utilizing the research from my findings and surveys, I created the following personas

I created low-fidelity designs with basic content and layout to test the overall user experience within my client . I tested the wireframes with a few personas by conducting cognitive walkthroughs and made several iterations based on the results and feedback.

In this specific project I'am responsable for updates in the web by updating the content in the server and develop some new features such as adding new project and content media that my client will like to add in the future.

Thanks for your time!
